California CEU Requirements
The state of California requires that in order to renew a license, architects need to complete (5) hours of coursework regarding disability access requirements imposed by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
For all renewals that will occur on or after January 1, 2023, an additional (5) hours of coursework regarding zero net carbon design will be required.
Must be renewed every 2 years, before the last day of the Architect’s birth month in odd-numbered years.
