The Magiglide Bifold Closet Door is a flat-panel, solid-core bifolding closet door of exceptional durability. Magiglide has served both new construction and renovation needs in multifamily housing since the 1950’s. When properly installed, you can expect decades and decades of trouble-free operation with Magiglide doors-even in abusive environments. Magiglide doors are made in the USA; delivered in truckload quantities direct from the manufacturer. The bifold closet system comes in either 3/4” Standard Series thickness or the 1-1/8” Advantage Series thickness. See below for design constraints capable through each type. All Magiglide Bifold closet doors come standard with a 5 year manufacturer’s warranty.

This default floor plate is ideal for all flooring type applications.
Both the standard and flat floor plates are the same cost, please specify upon ordering with the appropriate flooring type. Make note, the add-on decorative boots are also shown below.
This floor plate can be specified but must be installed with tiles, hardwoods and vinyls.
The undercut for a standard floor plate on carpet is 5/8” reveal. The undercut for a standard floor plate on a hardwood is 1-3/8” reveal. When installing a standard floor plate onto a floating floor, we suggest following the floating floor recommendation of adhering the floor plate to the subfloor, to ensure the floating floor will retain it’s flexibility to “float.”
The undercut for a flat floor plate is a 5/8” reveal on a hard floor installation. When installing a flat floor plate, install right on top of the floor for a sleek clean look. Flat floor plates are the same cost as standard floor plates, just specify upon ordering.

A stainless steel boot is available as an add-on purchase to any size order. It is manufactured in order to cover the standard floor bracket on flat floor surfaces. An affordable way to change the aesthetics on the floor.
A modified stainless steel boot is also available as an add-on purchase to any size order. It is also only to be used with our standard floor bracket. This modified boot covers effectively on engineered or “floating” floors.
