70 Pine Street was originally built in 1932, in lower Manhattan (the Financial District) in New York City. The Art Deco design is reminiscent of it’s 1930’s construction, being the 3rd tallest building in the world upon completion of initial construction. Magiglide bifold closet doors are throughout the building, as often times they are spec’d into adaptive reuse buildings such as this. The conversion was completed into a residential building by developers Rose Associates and DTH. The design team includes Steven B. Jacobs Architecture and Deborah Berke & Partners Architects.
